The newest “Saturday Night Live” episode is arriving live from New York this weekend.
After its legendary 50th anniversary special, musical guest Morgan Wallen’s questionable stage exit and backlash from “White Lotus” star Aimee Lou Wood, the 2025 season of “Saturday Night Live” has already spurred some memorable moments.
Most recently, Jon Hamm and Lizzo returned to Studio 8HÂ to appear as host and musical guest, respectively, for the April 12 episode.
The next episode arrives Saturday, May 3, as part of the final trio of episodes culminating in the season 50 finale on May 17.

Who’s hosting ‘Saturday Night Live’ on May 3?
Actor and comedian Quinta Brunson is slated to host “SNL” for its next episode May 3, marking the second time she will host the show.
The 35-year-old actor became the first Black woman to receive three nominations in the comedy category at the 74th Primetime Emmy Awards in 2022, receiving nods in the Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series, Outstanding Comedy Series and Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series categories for her work writing, producing and starring in “Abbott Elementary.”

At the 75th Emmy Awards, Brunson, a Philadelphia native, became the first Black woman to win Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy in over 40 years for her work in “Abbott Elementary.” In 2023, Brunson earned a Peabody Trailblazer Award for her work championing education and reviving the sitcom genre with the show.
Who is the musical guest for ‘Saturday Night Live’ on May 3?
Grammy-nominated artist Benson Boone will make his “SNL” debut as the musical guest for the May 3 episode.
The 22-year-old “Beautiful Things” singer appeared on “American Idol” in 2021 and released his debut studio album, “Fireworks & Rollerblades” in April 2024. The up-and-coming pop star recently performed for more than 50,000 fans at this year’s Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

How to watch ‘Saturday Night Live’
All episodes of “SNL” premiere Saturday nights at 11:30 p.m. ET on NBC. Those wanting to stream the show live can do so with a Peacock premium subscription, or stream new episodes the next day with a basic Peacock subscription.
Hulu + Live TV subscription-holders, or anyone with streaming services that have live TV capabilities, can also stream the show live. The show will be available to stream with a regular Hulu subscription Sunday, the day after a new episode airs.
When is the last episode of ‘SNL’ season 50?
The 50th season of “SNL” closes out with a trio of episodes May 3, 10 and 17.
Confirmed to host the May 10 episode is “The White Lotus” star Walton Goggins alongside musical guest Arcade Fire, a Canadian indie rock band.
For the final season 50 episode May 17, Academy Award-nominated actor Scarlett Johansson returns to host, joining her husband and “Weekend Update” co-host Colin Jost on the “SNL” stage. She’ll be joined by Bad Bunny as the musical guest, who has appeared on “SNL” three times before in musical guest, host and cameo roles.
