LA Knight is one of the most popular stars in WWE. Throughout his wrestling career, the Megastar has been compared to multiple wrestlers such as the People’s Champion The Rock, The Texas Rattlesnake Stone Cold Steve Austin, and many more. Another wrestler that Knight has been frequently compared to is Mr. Kennedy (…Kennedy!).

Recently, while speaking on Rewind Recap Relive – Wrestling Interviews, Mr. Kennedy shared his thoughts on LA Knight being compared to him. Kennedy mentioned that Knight may have taken inspiration from multiple stars just like every wrestler has. Kennedy also revealed that he had worked with Knight in NWA for a short period and wishes nothing but the best for him.
“I think… I get it, I appreciate it [being compared to current WWE United States Champion LA Knight]. Like… I don’t think anybody is copying anybody or… It’s just that… That’s his genuine persona. And yeah, he may have taken inspiration from different people as we all do. There really is nothing in wrestling that’s new. It’s all sort of borrowed and tweaked, right? But I think he’s great. I actually got a chance to work with him at NWA for a little while. We did a job together. And I wish him nothing but the best,” Mr. Kennedy said.
LA Knight is currently scheduled to face Jacob Fatu at WrestleMania 41. Fatu defeated Braun Strowman in a brutal Last Man Standing Match on the April 4 episode of WWE SmackDown to earn a shot at Knight’s United States Championship at WrestleMania.
Do you think LA Knight is a Mr. Kennedy copycat?
