Demi Moore’s 2-year-old granddaughter is already inheriting her love of gardening. On Monday, the Oscar nominee shared a series of new snaps that depict the duo planting flowers together.
“Never a dull day in the garden 🌼🌱,” Moore captioned her latest Instagram carousel.

In May, Rumer shared the adorable nickname her toddler has given her grandmother. In a new interview with People, Rumer, the eldest daughter of Moore and actor Bruce Willis, discussed their “sweet” relationship.
“My mom, she’s Yaya to Lou,” Rumer said, explaining that Moore introduced Disney movies to her daughter. “I was like, ‘We don’t watch TV in this house. We don’t ever. Not until she’s 5.’ And then I went over and Moana was on. I was like, ‘Come on!'”

“But they love each other,” she continued. “I mean, you should see her face light up when they’re on FaceTime when we’re away. [Louetta] just gets so excited and it’s sweet.”
Moore has previously discussed the origins of her nickname, which is Greek for grandmother. Although she doesn’t have any Greek ancestry, the actress explained that it would likely be easier for her baby granddaughter to pronounce.
“I had a little bit more forethought that if I did ‘Yaya,’ then it would move me up on the list of her first words,” Moore said on Live with Kelly and Mark.
Rumer welcomed her daughter in 2023 with her now ex-boyfriend, Derek Richard Thomas.
Moore has repeatedly gushed about being a grandma, including during an appearance on Today last fall.
“I love it,” she shared. “I am ‘Yaya.’ And she is the cutest. Rumer just sent me a photo of her with spaghetti on her head.”
