Milan open to Bologna proposal for Okafor after latest talks

Reports in Italy claim that Milan are open to the idea of sending Noah Okafor out on loan with either an option or obligation to buy after their latest round of talks with Bologna.

According to reports from Gianluca Di Marzio, Milan and Bologna are in contact over a potential deal for Okafor, who spent the second half of the 2024-25 season out on loan with the Scudetto-winning Napoli, although he ended up playing just 36 minutes of Serie A action under Antonio Conte.

The Switzerland international is looking for a fresh start after a disappointing first two years in San Siro following his move from RB Salzburg for a fee in the region of €15m in 2023.

According to Thursday’s reports, Bologna are keen to bring the 25-year-old on board this summer, and Milan are now open to the idea of sending Okafor out on another loan with an option to buy.

Reports from Ekrem Konur claim that Milan will seek a fee in the region of €13m-€15m to sell Okafor on a permanent basis.
