The Atlanta Braves are in the middle of another injury-plagued season that has seen them have a 43-53 record so far, and slipping further, and further away from having a chance at turning things around to make the postseason.
The Braves could end up looking to be sellers at the MLB Trade Deadline, and ultimately they should, so it gives them time to hit the reset button as a team and get back on track.
One of the players they should be looking to trade ahead of the trade deadline is Ozzie Albies, and the team that makes sense to trade for him is the New York Mets.

Atlanta Braves Trade Ozzie Albies to the New York Mets
Ozzie Albies has struggled so far this season, but with how the year has gone so far for the Atlanta Braves, it could very well be a product of the team not having success as well. That should be able to change on a team that has a better atmosphere for this season, and that is the New York Mets.
The Mets’ offense, outside of Juan Soto, has ended up being very average with their production. One of the spots that has been almost nonexistent in contributing to the offense has been the second base spot, and if the Mets want to truly contend this season, that is something they must make a focus on fixing at the trade deadline.
The Mets are currently switching their second base spot between Ronnie Mauricio, and Luisangel Acuna, neither if which have provided any type of promise that they can become the full-time starter. The Mets currently have Jeff McNeil solidified there, but this season they have had him at other spots, like in the outfield or at third base.
By trading for Ozzie Albies they would be getting a player that can become that solidified player for them at the second base spot while also providing a boost to their offensive production.
So far this season when Ozzie Albies has played and hasn’t been injured, it has led to him having a slash line of .221/.290/.324 with eight home runs and 33 RBIs.
The biggest thing with Albies is keeping him healthy, but on the Mets, they could end up using him sparingly as on days where they have McNeil slotted in at second, it could be a rest day for Albies, which would end up helping him get back to his typical level of production as well.
A change of scenery can help Ozzie Albies, and with him still having two years left on his contract, being owed $7 million over that stretch, it makes for an ideal trade for them in multiple ways.
