Unfortunately, there was another round of WWE backstage releases this week.
There were rumblings on Thursday evening that WWE had begun another round of staff cuts. While not all names are known, a few have been confirmed.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, at least 10 to 12 WWE staff members were released on Thursday. With one of them being Senior Vice President of Creative Writing Operations Christine Lubrano.
Johnson later reported that Ryan Pappolla of WWE’s digital team has also been let go.
In addition to Lubrano and Pappolla, Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp reports that Andrew Karr was also let go. Karr did documentary and social media work for the company over the last nine years.
WWE reportedly made cuts in several areas. This includes creative services, photography, and other departments. Stay tuned to WrestleZone for more information on this round of staff releases as it becomes available.
