There has been a ton of speculation about the Pittsburgh Steelers and their vacant starting quarterback job this offseason.
General manager Omar Khan turned over the entire quarterback room for the second offseason in a row this year, and the team is no nearer a solution than it was in February after the Super Bowl.

Aaron Rodgers, a free agent after being ousted by the New York Jets, is the name most associated with the Steelers’ job, but he remains unsigned a week after the NFL Draft.
Another name that was rumored to be in play was Atlanta Falcons’ now backup quarterback, Kirk Cousins. And now – let’s fire up the rumor mill! – his name appears to be making the rounds again, as ESPN’s Peter Schrager discussed on The Pat McAfee Show.
“Kirk Cousins’ name was coming up throughout the draft, and seeing if Pittsburgh doesn’t get Aaron Rodgers, is that the move,” Schrager said. “I think Cousins is still a viable trade target, as much as they want to talk out of both sides of their mouths in Atlanta, the fact of the matter is you’re paying him a wild amount of money to be a backup quarterback right now, and he is still a viable starting quarterback.

“If there is a seat on the carousel that’s open, it is Pittsburgh, so I would keep an eye on that one.”
NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport agrees, as he mentioned Cousins’ name as a solution for the Steelers if Rodgers falls through.
“If Aaron Rodgers doesn’t go to Pittsburgh,” he said. “I think that’s a possibility for Kirk Cousins.”

They might need to move on a QB.
