Starbucks hosted the inaugural Global Barista Championship in Las Vegas featuring baristas from around the world.
The pumpkin spice latte at Starbucks, along with the rest of the chain’s fall menu, is returning soon to stores across California — marking the “unofficial start of fall” even if our weather doesn’t match the vibe.
The pumpkin spice latte drops on Aug. 26, along with these seasonal treats.

Returning to the menu are the pumpkin cream cold brew, the iced pumpkin cream chai and the pecan crunch oatmilk latte.
Starbucks also announced two new items coming as well: a pecan oatmilk cortado and Italian sausage egg bites.
The Cortado, a new style of coffee drink Starbucks added earlier this year, is made with three ristretto shots of Blonde Espresso and steamed milk (ristretto espresso shots are smaller and more concentrated than traditional ones), USA TODAY reported.
When is the Dunkin’ Donuts pumpkin spice latte returning?
Seasonal treats are also returning to Dunkin’ Donuts, which announced on Instagram on Aug. 6 that there was “two weeks ‘til pumpkin.” Wednesday, Aug. 20 marks two weeks from that date.
On the menu is the pumpkin spice signature latte; the pumpkin sugar cookie iced coffee; Pumpd Up frozen coffee; the pumpkin donut; pumpkin muffin; pumpkin munchkin; and the pumpkin loaf.
