Netflix is gearing up for fall, and not every show is making the cut for another season.
While fans of the streaming service’s “Stranger Things” will insist that the upcoming fifth and final season is the ONLY thing that matters, Netflix has a long list of beloved shows that have fans anxiously awaiting news of if and when they’ll be coming back.
Here’s what we know so far.
‘Squid Game: The Challenge’ Will Return
The reality competition is inspired by the Netflix drama by the same name.
Season one won enough fans to earn it a renewal not just for season two, but season three as well.
Season two will debut November 4.
‘Queer Eye’ Blinks Out
Netflix’s revival of “Queer Eye” will make it to its tenth season, but it won’t see an eleventh.
The final season is already in production in Washington, D.C., and features the Fab Five’s “last go ’round” of transformations before the final curtain falls.
“Queer Eye” is Netflix’s longest running unscripted TV show and has won 11 Emmys. No premiere date has been announced yet for the final season.
‘Bridgerton’ Will Be Back
‘Bridgerton” fans can loosen their corsets and rest easy for a while.
Even though season four of the period drama doesn’t premiere until 2026, it’s already been renewed for seasons five and six.
‘The Diplomat’ Will Return
Fans of the political thriller “The Diplomat” can also go all-in.
While season three of the Keri Russel drama won’t debut until this fall, the series has already been renewed for season four, according to Netflix.
Season three will reunite “West Wing” cast members Allison Janney and Bradley Whitford as the President and First Gentleman.
David Letterman’s Interviewing Skills Roll On
Former late night talk show host David Letterman will continue to sit down with newsmakers and celebrities for his “My Guest Needs No Introduction With David Letterman” series.
The program has so far featured long-form interviews with such notables as former President Barack Obama, Tina Fey, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jay-Z, Robert Downey Jr., Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Dave Chappellem Billie Eilish, Miley Cyrus, and athletes Charles Barkley and Caitlin Clark.
The program has been renewed for two more seasons. Season six will premiere later this year.
