WASHINGTON (7News) — Wednesday is off to a gloomy start with overcast skies, drizzly conditions, and a few showers. You’ll want to grab the umbrella, as you head out the door, and possibly budget extra time for the morning drive with wet pavement.
After an overcast start to the day, skies will brighten near lunchtime, so grab the sunglasses out the door, as well. It will be quite humid today, so it will feel about 5 degrees warmer than the actual air temperature.
An isolated shower or storm is possible with the heating of the day, but many neighborhoods will stay dry this afternoon. Rain and storm chances increase slightly heading into the evening hours.
Don’t forget it’s Summer Restaurant Week through Sunday, so plenty of time to get some good deals on local eats!
After a fall-like feel Monday and Tuesday, be ready for a summery feel Wednesday with feels-like temperatures between 85 to 90 degrees.
It will be mild and muggy this evening. Tonight, the clouds roll back in with a few showers developing. Temperatures will drop to the 60s with an easterly wind flow.
